Hogg Wool
HOGG WOOL OR HOGGETT
The wool sheared from a year-old sheep that has not previously been clipped. The fibres are pointed and taper towards the end, and nearly all of this wool is used for warp yams. It has a higher value than subsequent clips and is longer and finer (see Tag wool)
